• #1 - Small City representation and advocacy at the STATE (and Federal) levels! 

• Small City representation and advocacy at the federal level (MAOSC is the only city-organization in MN with this feature).

• ACCESSIBLE, knowledgeable and experienced Executive Director/Lobbyist/Advocate.

• An active and engaged 16-member Board of Directors - made up of your small city peers.

• Introductions to and/or meetings arranged with elected officials and state agencies when needed.

• Assistance and guidance specific to small city challenges or concerns; help with navigating the process.

• Collaborative partnership with LMC and other small city organizations.

Timely Resources & Information

• Monthly E-Newsletters covering state, local and federal updates; program applications and timely grant/funding opportunities; and special features.

• WEEKLY Email Updates during legislative session, covering the bills we are watching and fighting for or against.

• Receive regular Washington DC updates on federal issues of interest to small cities.

• New grant and program announcements, when applicable. 

• Regional support via your city’s designated, MAOSC Regional Representative.

• Regional Q&A zoom meetings (coming in 2021).

• Corporate Member-Sponsors (resources) who are committed to small city success.

• Partnerships with vetted outside resources deemed beneficial to small city needs.

• Access to topical, peer-driven, online Q&A Discussion Forums on timely issues helpful to small cities.
  

• Members-Only Webinars - when warranted for timely matters (ex: CARES Act $$ with MMB on 7/29/2020).
