MN Small Cities Membership - "Stronger Together"

Every MN Small Cities Member City & Sponsor strengthens the unified voice, raises the visibility and ensures the representation of over 650,000 Minnesotans living in the state's 707 cities with populations of 5,000 or less.

MAOSC has over four decades of advocating and lobbying experience, responding to legislative and agency proposals on matters of funding and policies that help our small cities in key areas, such as transportation, LGA, water quality, economic development, workforce housing, child care, broadband, unfunded mandates, and more. We take a strategic and bold lead on the measures and issues that matter most to small cities!

Join these other small city leaders in fighting for all of Minnesota's small cities: MAOSC Members

We collaboratively bring small city leaders together to engage with our State and Federal policy makers including, the governor and his administration, various state agencies and commissions, our state legislators in both the Minnesota House and Senate, and other city-focused organizations such as the League of Minnesota Cities.

From our smallest member city of Humboldt (pop. 39) to our largest of Oak Park Heights (pop. 4,801), the Minnesota Association of Small Cities provides a voice for small communities across the state; east to west, north to south, and corner to corner. MN Small Cities' membership of approx 250 cities - and climbing - with a combined population of nearly a quarter million people, represents a collaboration of work between local city officials, city staff, their citizens, and our state law makers.

We encourage you to JOIN US in raising awareness about what our small cities face every day. We need you to help make an impact at the MN State Capitol so that our LGA is not cut, our wastewater treatment facilities are built, our countryside remains a recreational oasis, and the roads to help maintain our economic development are repaired and expanded. Standing TOGETHER, we make the voices of our small cities heard!
